...Finish...

Learning English at the university is a lot of fun, I feel that the students are given more importance and that fills me with happiness. Also, when a student is unable to attend classes, we are given the opportunity to see the class at another time of the day. Speaking of the blogs, besides being a tool to know how we write, it is a personal time to think about certain situation and remember things from the past.  In my case, I think I need to improve in having a good grammar in English, it has always been hard for me since I was a child, compared to reading and listening. So, I try to watch all the series, movies or other things in English and subtitles in English, and that way I learn.  The other thing I do is to read English books and highlight the words that I don't know the meaning, to make a glossary and then each day I read the glossary to memorize the words.  And, every day I'm listening to music or watching a video, so English is a very good tool for my area of study,

My future job

It is very difficult to think about the future and especially what to expect in a few years. So far, I only have areas of interest, for example, organic chemistry is the study of the structure, properties, composition, composition, reactions, and preparation of carbon-containing compounds. Now imagining myself in 3 or 4 more years I would like to see myself in a research laboratory discovering or contributing to the advancement of technology through Chemical sciences. If this work must be out of doors, go to different places where research doesn't yet exist and contribute with my knowledge. I have always liked to discover the origins of human beings and how they developed on the planet, having the opportunity to collaborate with the area of anthropology, I would be more than grateful. Now being able to travel is a privilege, but if you have the opportunity, you have to take advantage of it, to recognize the global advancement of science and to know places. Where the greatest expon

Japanese ? Mayas ?

I have always liked to know the things that happen around me, at first I wanted to travel to Central America just to understand the great aboriginal peoples of the American continent (Aztecas and Mayas) and understand how one of the great civilizations lived among themselves and to observe they are great constructions. As the years went by, it caught my attention to learn about the cultural diversity of our country, not only the different climates that inhabit along with this piece of land, but to see all that we have as a country. Now speaking in the future, these last years, I have been very interested in Japanese culture, not only for the different animes (I have seen hehe) but for the history that has a small territory in the world, and how it has been its evolution in different times would be very interesting to see their archaic, modern, and futuristic constructions.  Another very important thing is the traditions of this country that despite the different situations they have fa

1H NMR

Since he was very young, I have liked to understand what is going on around me and that is one of the reasons I chose my career.  I am not here to give a talk like Carl Sagan did in Cosmos or more recently Neil deGrasse Tyson, but simply to mention some interesting aspects that we see around us.  Chemistry is very complex and interesting at the same time. One thing in particular that I would like to mention is the equipment used in this study, for example:  The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. It is a spectroscopic technique used in analytical chemistry for the determination of content, purity, and the molecular structures present in a sample. It gives us information about the number and the types of atoms present in a particular molecule. There are two common types of NMR: 1H NMR and 13C NMR. The 1H NMR is a spectroscopic method used to determine the types and number of hydrogen atoms present in a molecule. When I was a kid, you would never think that you could determine something that yo

Doom Patrol

This last time, I watched a series called: doom patrol. At first, I thought it was more of a superhero series, but there is a very radical change. If we search for doom patrol on the internet, we get is an American superhero streaming television series developed by Jeremy Carver. Doom Patrol is a team of traumatized and downtrodden superheroes, each of whom has suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities. Being one of the series that I liked the most this last year, mentioning that the protagonist is not only for superheroes, but anyone can take the initiative even if your "superpowers" are not the most striking. Understanding this group of people to rescue their "Father" is the striking of the saga with a charismatic satire and the diversity of characters from a person with 64 personalities, to a Robocop waiting to be called to the Justice League. I share this information with you so that you can see a very untraditional series and also mention

The band's albums are good, but their concerts are even better.

When I first arrived in Santiago in 2018, I had the opportunity to attend a concert by the famous renowned Benito Martinez Ocaso.  Days before the concert I got together with a friend from Antofagasta to attend the concert together. It was a new adventure for both of us because we didn't know anything about Santiago.  So, we got on the subway and arrived at O'Higgins park (Movistar Arena). The first impression outside the place where the rows of fans with banners, hats, and any accessory you can imagine.  Once inside the venue, we could only see people waiting for the famous singer nothing was interesting to see, but when the time came, the lights went out and everyone was waiting for the singer to appear. The moment the singer was in front of us, the world went crazy, it was the slowest 2 hours of my life where I could take advantage of every second. Everything has an end, at the moment when one feels that normality returns, the world found its course and I could not believe w

...Country ???

Hello everyone, I would like to visit Japan in the near future. In my opinion, the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun is one of the most fascinating in the world, simply for the things, it can offer us. It has a fascinating and multifaceted culture; on the one hand, it is steeped in the deepest traditions that go back thousands of years; on the other, it is a society in a continuous state of rapid change, with fashions and trends that are constantly changing and technological development that constantly pushes the boundaries of what is possible. I would like to visit Tsumago and Tokyo because it shows us the difference that can be found in how people lived in ancient times and what happens when technological advances continue over time. I would only like to travel there and get to know its richness in all areas, I would not think of living in a society different from the West.
